Birthplace and Parents
Born on Sunday October 30, 1960 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Alan Albert John Russell was the darling new baby of Donald Russell, a general laborer and Bank of Canada employee where he actually burned money…literally!
And Trudy Brown, a mom and housewife who also worked at Queensway Carlton Hospital. Alan is the 4th child of a family of 6 children and also has a half brother from his mothers second marriage. His new found home that he fell in love with, is in Port Credit, Mississauga, Ontario, but he is currently residing in Hamilton temporarily.
Childhood and Schooling
Alan attended Vincent Massey Public School – named after the Governor General of Canada, and attended Ottawa Tech High School graduating in 1980. He was an affable student who was well liked by all students and always generous and caring with all his fellow students. His interests included music, comic books and watching sports.

Alan’s Favorite Past Times and Hobbies
Alan has an appreciation for life, music and entertainment. His favorite past times and hobbies reflect this gleeful approach to life and Alan loves listening to music as his number one hobby. He is also a devout comic book collector and is a pet lover of cats and dogs. His favorite TV shows starts and ends with wrestling and he is an avid WWE wrestling fan, with his heroes with WWE champion Trish Stratus and Kenny O’Mega. .

Alan Russell – Port Credit’s Favorite Son !
Alan has lived in Port Credit, Mississauga for the last 20 years, although he has been moved temporarily to Macassa Lodge in Hamilton. His hope and aspiration is to be returned to his Port Credit “family” home and where he was an active volunteer for many years with the local Port Credit Festivals.

He is also well known to many residents of Port Credit, and was the gas bar attendant at the local Esso Gas Station and Car Wash on Lakeshore and Mississauga road. This longtime landmark has been torn down to make way for a new housing subdivision, but Alan hopes to return to his loving home of Port Credit, Mississauga and will need lifetime critical care and personal healthcare attendance. The costs of 24/7 personal care is overwhelming and insurmountable.

Ultimately this is the responsibility of the insurance companies who are responsible for his catastrophic outcome, and which is proceeding through the costly and laborious legal processes. Until then, Alan is in dire need of financial support and contributions from caring humanitarians.
