Alan Russell – Port Credit’s Favorite Son !

Alan has lived in Port Credit, Mississauga for the last 20 years, although he has been moved temporarily to Macassa Lodge in Hamilton. His hope and aspiration is to be returned to his Port Credit “family” home and where he was an active volunteer for many years with the local Port Credit Festivals.

He is also well known to many residents of Port Credit, and was the gas bar attendant at the local Esso Gas Station and Car Wash on Lakeshore and Mississauga road. This longtime landmark has been torn down to make way for a new housing subdivision, but Alan hopes to return to his loving home of Port Credit, Mississauga and will need lifetime critical care and personal healthcare attendance. The costs of 24/7 personal care is overwhelming and insurmountable.

Ultimately this is the responsibility of the insurance companies who are responsible for his catastrophic outcome, and which is proceeding through the costly and laborious legal processes. Until then, Alan is in dire need of financial support and contributions from caring humanitarians.

Alan is determined to give back when he is ready and able to. Stay tuned here for Alan’s daily updates and featured news items!
