Alan has permanent life changes that have changed his standard of living and altered his quality of life !
On Tuesday January 8, 2019, Alan was struck on Lakeshore road in his wheelchair by a left-turning vehicle, and was ploughed 150 feet up Mississauga road…until he was ejected out of his wheelchair and landed face down on the asphalt pavement. The driver then backed up and drove around him on his right side, with the car wheels passing just inches away from him as he lay face down on the ground – and then fled the scene of the accident !
It was only after other drivers who drove after her, and flagged her down forcing her to return to the scene of the accident.
And yet Alan still maintains a positive demeanor and looks to help his fellow human being by being kind and generous when he can!
